Grand Luxé Voyages is independently owned and operated and is affiliated with Cadence Travel, Inc. These Terms and Conditions explain the responsibilities that apply when Grand Luxé Voyages assists with travel planning or reservations. By requesting, authorizing, or purchasing travel services through Grand Luxé Voyages, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and all travelers included in your booking.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

1. Review Your Travel Documents
Please review all itineraries, confirmations, invoices, tickets, and other travel documents promptly upon receipt. You are responsible for confirming that traveler names, dates, destinations, accommodations, transportation, and other details are accurate. Names must match each traveler’s government-issued identification exactly. Notify Grand Luxé Voyages promptly if you identify an error or have a question. Costs resulting from corrections requested after approval or ticketing may be your responsibility.

2. Relationship With Travel Suppliers
Grand Luxé Voyages and Cadence Travel, Inc. act as intermediaries and sales agents for airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies, car-rental companies, transportation providers, travel insurers, and other independent providers identified in your itinerary or confirmation (collectively, “Suppliers”). Grand Luxé Voyages does not own, operate, manage, or control these Suppliers.

Each Supplier is responsible for providing its own services and for its acts, omissions, schedules, policies, representations, financial condition, refunds, credits, and performance. Supplier terms and conditions—including cancellation, change, refund, rebooking, and future-credit policies—apply to your purchase and generally govern the remedies available to you, subject to applicable law. Grand Luxé Voyages cannot guarantee that a Supplier will operate as scheduled, remain financially solvent, issue a refund, or honor a future travel credit.

3. Travel Risks and Traveler Responsibility
Travel involves inherent risks, including illness, injury, crime, terrorism, political or civil unrest, labor disruptions, natural disasters, severe weather, public-health events, transportation interruptions, unsafe conditions, and acts or omissions of parties outside the control of Grand Luxé Voyages and Cadence. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grand Luxé Voyages is not responsible for losses arising from circumstances or third parties it does not control.

You are responsible for deciding whether travel is appropriate for you and every member of your party. You must review current destination conditions, advisories, entry and exit rules, health requirements, accessibility, and security information. Current resources include the U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at cdc.gov/travel. Requirements may change at any time and may include visas, electronic travel authorizations, vaccinations, health documentation, testing, screening, insurance, or local restrictions. Failure to comply may result in denied boarding or entry, delay, quarantine, fines, detention, or removal at your expense.

4. Check In and Schedule Changes
Grand Luxé Voyages will provide you with the confirmed flight, cruise, rail, transfer, tour, and other departure details available for your journey and will communicate any schedule changes received before travel. Because Suppliers may make last-minute changes without notifying Grand Luxé Voyages, travelers should also monitor communications from the applicable Supplier and reconfirm departure details when appropriate.

Please arrive within each Supplier’s required check-in period and allow additional time when recommended for security, documentation, or destination-specific procedures. Grand Luxé Voyages is happy to provide guidance regarding suggested arrival times; however, failure to meet a Supplier’s check-in or boarding requirements may result in denied boarding, cancellation of remaining arrangements, or loss of the amount paid.

5. Identification and REAL ID
Each traveler must carry identification accepted for the itinerary. For domestic air travel within the United States, travelers aged 18 and older must present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card, or another identification accepted by the Transportation Security Administration. REAL ID enforcement began May 7, 2025. Because accepted-document rules may change, review current requirements at tsa.gov/real-id and tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/identification before departure.

6.  Passports Visas and Entry Requirements
You are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all passports, visas, electronic travel authorizations, permits, consent letters, vaccination records, and other documents required for every destination and transit point. Requirements may vary based on citizenship, residency, age, criminal history, travel purpose, and itinerary. Non-U.S. citizens should contact the appropriate embassy or consulate and their immigration advisor as needed.

Many destinations require a passport to remain valid for a specified period after arrival or departure and may require blank passport pages. Requirements for minors may include notarized consent or custody documentation. Grand Luxé Voyages may provide general guidance but does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of governmental or Supplier requirements and does not provide legal or immigration advice.

7. Restricted Promotional and Special Fares
Discounted, promotional, group, package, excursion, and other special fares may be nonrefundable, nonchangeable, capacity controlled, or subject to additional restrictions. A change in carrier, flight, date, time, routing, traveler name, or other component may require payment of a fare difference or purchase of a new reservation. Contact Grand Luxé Voyages before making a change whenever practicable.

8. Availability, Schedules and Fares
Schedules, availability, routing, and quoted prices are subject to change until the reservation is confirmed and any required payment has been processed. Suppliers may change flight times, equipment, ports, hotels, excursions, or other components with or without advance notice, subject to their terms and applicable law.

9. Pricing and Post Booking Increases
Travel prices may include taxes, fuel surcharges, port charges, currency adjustments, resort fees, destination fees, gratuities, or other amounts imposed by a Supplier or governmental authority. Additional amounts may be imposed after booking when permitted by the Supplier’s terms and applicable law. No charge will be placed on your payment card by Grand Luxé Voyages without authorization; however, a Supplier may process an authorized payment or adjustment in accordance with the terms you accepted.

10. Price Reductions After Booking
If a Supplier reduces a price after confirmation, Grand Luxé Voyages may, upon request, ask whether the Supplier will reprice or rebook the reservation. Eligibility is determined solely by the Supplier and may require cancellation, loss of benefits, a new deposit, a change fee, an advisory fee, or acceptance of revised terms. Grand Luxé Voyages does not guarantee that a lower price, refund, credit, or successful rebooking will be available.

11. Fare and Value Disclaimer
Grand Luxé Voyages seeks travel arrangements that appropriately reflect your preferences, priorities, and budget. Grand Luxé Voyages does not guarantee the lowest available fare or price. Rates and benefits vary by booking channel, availability, restrictions, inclusions, service level, and the time of purchase.

12. Tour, Cruise and Package Pricing
Tour, cruise, package, group, and international prices may change because of currency fluctuations, taxes, tariffs, government fees, fuel costs, supplier changes, or increased operating costs. Group pricing may depend on a minimum number of participants. If participation falls below that minimum, the Supplier may revise the itinerary, cancel the program, or impose a surcharge.

13. Reservation Rule Violations
You agree not to request or purchase reservations that violate a Supplier’s rules, including hidden-city, point-beyond, back-to-back, duplicate, speculative, or throwaway ticketing. You also agree not to purchase a round-trip ticket with the undisclosed intention of using only one direction. If a segment is missed or intentionally unused, a carrier may cancel the remainder of the itinerary, recalculate the fare, assess charges, restrict future travel, or take action affecting loyalty benefits. You are responsible for losses or claims arising from your violation of Supplier rules.

14. Payments, Credit Cards and Merchants
Travel payments are ordinarily processed by Cadence, the applicable Supplier, or another disclosed merchant. Your card statement may identify that merchant rather than Grand Luxé Voyages. You authorize the disclosed merchant to charge the approved amount and acknowledge that its payment, refund, and dispute terms may apply.

Planning, consultation, air-ticketing, change, cancellation, or other professional fees charged by Grand Luxé Voyages compensate Grand Luxé Voyages for time, expertise, research, and services. Any applicable fee will be disclosed before the related work begins and is separate from amounts paid to Suppliers. Once work has begun, professional fees are nonrefundable except when otherwise stated in writing or required by law.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact Grand Luxé Voyages promptly so the matter can be investigated. Nothing in these Terms limits any nonwaivable rights you may have under applicable law.

15. Changes During Travel
If your plans change while you are traveling, please contact Grand Luxé Voyages as soon as possible so I can help you explore the available options and coordinate with the affected Supplier. Together, we will determine the best possible solution based on availability and the Supplier’s policies.

Any requested changes may be subject to Supplier approval, fare differences, penalties, and an applicable professional service fee. While I cannot guarantee a particular outcome, I will make every reasonable effort to assist you and help minimize disruptions to your journey. Assistance will be provided during communicated support hours, with emergency guidance shared before your departure when applicable.

16. Overbooking and Denied Boarding
Airlines, hotels, cruises, and other travel services may be oversold or overbooked. Any accommodation, compensation, refund, or alternative arrangement is governed by the applicable Supplier’s policy and law. Grand Luxé Voyages may assist with communications but is not responsible for a Supplier’s overbooking decision.

17.  Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
All changes, cancellations, refunds, and credits are subject to the applicable Supplier’s terms. Requests should be made through Grand Luxé Voyages in writing whenever possible and before any applicable deadline. Some reservations become nonrefundable or have no remaining value after the scheduled departure or check-in time.

Grand Luxé Voyages may charge a disclosed professional fee for changes, cancellations, refund processing, insurance documentation, Supplier disputes, or other post-booking services. Supplier penalties and fare differences are separate. Grand Luxé Voyages is not responsible for losses caused by your failure to travel, obtain required documents, meet a deadline, or follow a Supplier’s cancellation or change procedure.

18. Hotels, Resorts and Villas
Accommodations are commonly guaranteed with a payment card, deposit, or advance payment. Cancellation rules, check-in requirements, resort or destination fees, security deposits, occupancy limits, and incidental charges vary by property. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the property’s terms and for notifying Grand Luxé Voyages promptly if your plans change.

19. Travel Insurance
Grand Luxé Voyages strongly recommends that every traveler consider comprehensive travel insurance appropriate for the trip. Depending on the policy, coverage may be available for trip cancellation or interruption, medical care, emergency evacuation, baggage, delay, Supplier insolvency, and other risks. Coverage is controlled exclusively by the insurance policy, including its definitions, limits, exclusions, and claim requirements. Time-sensitive conditions may apply to certain benefits, including coverage related to pre-existing medical conditions.

Grand Luxé Voyages does not determine coverage or claims and does not guarantee that a policy will cover a particular event. Descriptions of insurance are general information and are not a promise of coverage. If you decline insurance, you accept responsibility for losses that insurance might otherwise have covered. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree not to hold Grand Luxé Voyages or Cadence responsible for your decision not to purchase insurance or for an insurer’s denial or handling of a claim.

20. Supplier Insolvency or Cessation of Operations
A Supplier that becomes insolvent, files for bankruptcy, or ceases operations may be unable or unwilling to honor reservations, refunds, credits, or other obligations. Funds already remitted to a Supplier may be controlled by that Supplier or a court-supervised process and may not be recoverable through Grand Luxé Voyages. Other Suppliers are not required to honor the affected reservation. Travel insurance and payment-card protections may offer assistance in some circumstances, subject to their own terms.

21. California Refund Disclosure
To the extent applicable, if a travel Supplier cancels transportation or travel services and you are not at fault and have not canceled, amounts received for services not provided will be handled in accordance with California law. Different rules may apply when payment has already been remitted to a registered wholesale seller of travel or Supplier that fails to provide the agreed transportation or service and does not return the funds. Any legally required statement or documentation will be provided by the registered seller of travel responsible for the transaction.

22. California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund
California clients may be eligible for protection through the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund only when the transaction and registered seller of travel meet the statutory requirements. Eligibility, claim limits, deadlines, required documentation, processing fees, and waiver provisions are determined by California law and the Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation. Current information and claim instructions are available at tcrcinfo.org and oag.ca.gov/travel/consumer.

The specific seller-of-travel registration number and required TCRF disclosure applicable to your transaction should appear on your invoice, confirmation, or other required disclosure. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.

23. Seller of Travel and Client Funds
Grand Luxé Voyages operates as an independent affiliate of Cadence Travel, Inc. Travel payments are processed and client funds are handled according to the procedures of the registered seller of travel or Supplier identified in your transaction documents. The applicable California Seller of Travel registration number and any required disclosure concerning a trust account, surety bond, exemption, or restitution-fund participation must be confirmed in your Cadence documentation before these Terms are issued to clients.

24. Claims Governing Law and Venue
Please notify Grand Luxé Voyages in writing of any concern as soon as reasonably possible so there is an opportunity to assist. Any contractual notice deadline, shortened limitations period, governing-law provision, mandatory dispute-resolution procedure, or exclusive venue should be included here only after Grand Luxé Voyages confirms the provision required by Cadence and obtains legal review. Until then, applicable law governs.
